I’ve noticed a link popping up on Twitter to the newspaper Paper.li This is an aggregated set of links posted by people you follow and updated each day. Here’s a screenshot of my paper which is updated daily.
So depending on the folks you follow, and the links they share, content changes all the time. You don’t need to click on the shortened URL’s and the news is displayed in easy to read format.
With Twitter being touted as the instant news channel, it follows that aggregators like Paper.li and the Twitter Times bring a new dimension to instant news. And if you like the content then you can follow the Twitter user yourself.
I wonder if this is the new way we’ll consume the news – discovered by the peers we trust, generated automatically and all in one place. Will be interesting to watch… 🙂
