Google hosted our event 14 in its new stylish offices in London. Our theme for the event was “Cultivating a Powerful Presence”.
These events could not take place without the hard work and dedication of a large project team consisting of volunteers and representatives from each of the eight participating CWT companies. Here is our team photo at Google, on stage before the event.
For this event we stick to a tried and tested agenda. This format allows attendees to go to two workshops of interest. Each workshop is repeated twice by the presenters.
CWT Agenda:
12:30 Registration
13:00 Welcome & Introduction: Nishma Robb, Head of Marketing at Google
13:15 Keynote – Kathryn Parsons from Decoded who talked about women in the workplace and how technology has changed the way we work. She also gave a fascinating and inspirational insight into how she worked at Decoded.
14:00 Break
14:15 Workshop Session 1 ( see below for topics)
15:15 Break
15:30 Workshop Session 2
16:30 Coffee Break
16.45 Debate with panel – Moderated by Google’s Head of Marketing, Nishma Robb
17:30 Drinks, Canapés and Networking
Attendees could go to two out of four workshops: Voiceprint with Kate Laws, Body Language by Carole Railton, presenting to camera by Alice Rock and using Strengths Finder to discover your strengths.
Google organisation was superb. Attendees where escorted between different sessions on different floors of the building by a team of volunteer helpers in CWT pink t shirts. Everyone was really positive about the content, speakers and the opportunity to interact and network with each other. Special thanks to Google for such a faultless execution.
Another event designed to engage and inspire – I think we succeeded yet again. A fantastic event to motivate us all…
