Jazzing up my CV…

I’ve been thinking about updating my CV (resume) after all the aggravation and annoyance I’ve had this week trying to help someone with a problem.  I’m obviously not as patient as I’d hoped I was. Perhaps I need a fresh challenge?   I’ve  been in the evangelist team for a while now so my CV is a bit out of date and certainly doesn’t look as nice or as funky as some of the CV’s I’ve seen recently whilst trying to recruit my 2 new guys into the team (more about that next week when they both have blogs I can link to).

I’ve found the resume wizard in Office 2007 (Office 2003 here) and I’ve been scrolling through the “Manager” resume wizard (from 101 great resumes if you’re interested).  I’m particularly intrigued by the Auto collision repair manager CV which is provided by default in Word 2007 and followed the link to “complaint letters for busy people“.  I thought about forwarding the link to James after his tough time last Friday, but reckoned that he was probably rather good at writing complaint letters without any help from a book at all!

I’ve spend lots of time mulling over all of the other potential roles I could apply for  away from customer support – Flight attendant, security alarm technician,  all with the CV wizard!

Hmmm.  I obviously have too much time on my hands at the moment.  I wish my team would come back and make me busy again…
