Simon mailed me to remind me about a couple of Live Earth features I’d been ignoring for a while. I’d talked about the Outlook addin before and whinged about the fact that it was only available in the US. Well nothings changed there (see below)
Outlook calendar plus in which enables the lookup of locations for your meetings and embedding of maps\directions\travel time in calendar entries, you can find this here:
However, I’ve played with the screen saver and I’m impressed. It’s amazing to watch all of these places floating past your eyes. Not good for productivity though :-). Virtual Earth Birds Eye Screen Saver this screen saver shows off images from Virtual Earth, by default the images show are driven by RSS feeds from birdseyetourist.com and virtualglobetrotting.com
I’d recommend you downloaded this one and waste some time gazing at the screen too….
