We’ve been busy planning our events for next year. July and August are usually light on events as everyone tends to be on holidays and attendance drop off is terrible, so we’re starting the year off in September again. This year, we’re planning a bit of a change in our event structures. We’re going to have a regional roadshow, not one big event that occurs once per year. We’re planning to go out on the road to 5 locations each quarter. It will still be an all day event though but we’re cutting back on the budget per event so we can actually run an event each quarter. We’re planning to “theme” these events around specific sets of technologies too, so if you’re interested in one particular topic, then you’ll know well in advance which one to book for.
George is also planning some half day events (or evening events). We’re only going to run about 16 of these in total as we’re putting the cash into the regional roadshows. We’re also going around the country with the Unified Communications Unplugged roadshow. This will be very similar to the Exchange unplugged roadshow that we ran a couple of years ago. We’re hooking up with 10 partners who will host these events. We’ve got a team of 7 techies who will be going round the partners in November talking about Exchange, unified messaging, VOIP and unified communications. We’re also planning to have deep dive sessions which are (chargeable events) and we’re also planning something special exclusively for TechNet subscribers.
Is there anything we’ve missed??
