Get social with the Heineken social Christmas tree

48 LCD screens, 11 metres in height.  The new way of displaying messages from your friends and loved ones – and it’s made by Heineken.

The Heineken social Christmas tree is a project created by the artist Edwin Cheong.  It’s intended to marry Art and technology by displaying Facebook images on the physical tubular tree.

If you’re in Singapore over Christmas, pop down and have a look at the real tree on Clarke Quay.  It’s on display from December 17th to 26th December.  And if you can’t quite make it to Singapore, then you can create your own tree on Facebook and share it with your friends…
