This is really odd. I’m in Cardiff in a cinema (Odeon) of the first leg of our TechNet roadshow and its HOT.
I’m sitting in the back row of the movies back catching up on my email and its really really hot up here at the back of the cinema. Probably because the place is totally packed to the gills with people wanting to hear about Windows Server 2008 and Security.
As the day has progressed, the temperature has increased steadily. So we’ve asked the cinema to turn the temperature down on the air conditioning in here.
But climate for all of the Odeon cinemas is apparently centrally controlled across the Internet in the UK so we need to call Rotherham (200 miles away) to get them to turn the A/C down.
So I’m in a branch office cinema with read only climate control, listening to my team talk about Read only Domain controllers for branch offices!
Bizarre…
